Peh Chin Hua is the Chairman and CEO of White Group. He has more than 50 years of experience in real estate, publishing and finance, with a focus on China. He led Dragon Land Limited from 1993 to 2004, listing it on the mainboard of the Singapore Stock Exchange. Dragon Land built housing projects, golf courses, and industrial parks across China, and completed eight large-scale projects in seven major cities, including Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, Changzhou, Jiangyin, and Shenyang.
Before that, he was the Managing Director of family publishing business Shing Lee Group for more than two decades. He expanded the business from Singapore to South-east Asia, widening its distribution network to global markets including China, South Asia, and even South America.
Other corporate positions he has held include the Vice Chairman of TFC Bank Holdings – InterBusiness Bank and Tomato Internet Banking – in the United States, and Chairman of Seacare Holdings Pte Ltd in Singapore.
Mr Peh was a Member of Parliament in Singapore, representing Jalan Besar Group Representation Constituency for 13 years from 1988 to 2001. During his time in Parliament, he also served as the Vice Chairman of the Singapore Government’s Parliamentary Information and Arts Committee and Education Committee.
He was an active community leader before he joined politics, and was awarded the Public Service Medal by the President of the Republic of Singapore in 1984. He remains committed to the community today, serving as Advisors to the Singapore Association of Writers, the Chinese Calligraphy Society of Singapore and the International Art & Culture (Singapore) Federation. He is also a Consultant to the Singapore Chinese Physicians’ Association and the Association for Promoting Chinese Medicine. He sat on the advisory board of River Valley High School, and is a Advisor to the alumni groups of Ai Tong School and River Valley High.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He is a regular commentator on China issues, and has been invited to speak in various universities in China. In his spare time, he enjoys poetry and painting, and has published several poetry collections. He is married with three children, six grandchildren and lives in Singapore.
Ng Kee Hoe was former Assistant Commissioner of the Singapore Police Force. He held numerous key positions during his 21 years of service, including Commander of the Central Police Division.
He was also Director of the Police Training Department and Director of the Police National Service Department. He was given the prestigious National Day awards on three occasions.
Lim Sah Soon is a professional valuer and chartered surveyor and company secretary. He was a senior civil servant in the Singapore government’s community and social development ministries and agencies, and won several National Day awards.
He was an Executive Director at the People’s Association, and a Director of Social Defence and Community Relations at the Ministry of Community Development. He was Chief Liaison Officer of the Residents’ Committees Central Secretariat at the Prime Minister’s Office. He was also the Secretary-General of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Quek Ser Aik is an Honorary Fellow and former Vice Dean of National University of Singapore’s Business School, an Associate Professor of the Department of Analysis and Operations, and an affiliated faculty member of NUS Business Analytics Centre.
He obtained a PhD in statistics from University of California, Berkeley. Professor Quek is also a member of the Royal Statistical Society, International Chinese Statistical Society, Singapore Statistical Society, and Singapore Operations Research Society. He was a consultant to many global institutions, including ExxonMobil and Cycle & Carriage.
Tang Loon Ching is a Professor at the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management (ISEM) in National University of Singapore (NUS). He has served as the Director of Temasek Defence Systems Institute from 2014 to 2020 and the Head of Department of ISEM from 2008-2015.
He has been appointed as an honorary adjunct professor of the Harbin Institute of Technology from 2018-2022. He has also been elected as the Region Vice President (Asia) for the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) from 2012-2015. He obtained his PhD in the field of operations research from Cornell University. The author is also the Editor-in-Chief of international journal Quality and Reliability Engineering International.
Edmund Eng is a founding Director of Fullerton Law Chambers. He holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the National University of Singapore.
His practice spans the entire range of corporate and commercial disputes. He is a member of the Inquiry Panel of the Law Society of Singapore on the appointment of the Chief Justice. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Professional Conduct Council chaired by the Honourable Chief Justice, and has also been appointed to the Investigation and Disciplinary Panel of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. He has, more recently, also been appointed by the Council of the Law Society to its panel of counsel for disciplinary matters.
Sng Yeow Hong is an electronic engineering technology consultant. He is also Executive Director of Make Music Pte Ltd.
He holds a PhD from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. He was an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, with more than 20 years of teaching and research experience.
Sheikh Sultan Saif Hilal Al Mahruqi is a career diplomat in Oman and has served as the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Mogadishu, Kuwait, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. He was a former Director at Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He was awarded the Medal of Friendship by the Vietnam Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister. He graduated from Cairo University in Egypt with a Bachelor’s degree in economics and politics and is fluent in Arabic and English.
Sun Jingfeng was a Professor and former Deputy Dean at the School of Politics and Public Administration in Henan Normal University. He is also a Council Member of the Chinese Society for Modern History of the World, and holds adjunct positions in Tianjin Normal University, Shandong Normal University, Central South University, and Tongji University.
He received a PhD from East China Normal University. His research has focused on political studies in Singapore, and he is regularly cited by major news media in Asia on his views of Singapore and China.

Maureen Peh is Executive Director and CFO of White Group Singapore. She spent almost three decades working in the National University of Singapore, before joining Dragon Land in 1994. She was in charge of the Group’s administrative and financial affairs.

Wu Xiao Hong was the Party Secretary of the Women’s Federation and the Chairman of the City Women’s Federation in Qiannanzhou prefecture-level cities in China’s Guizhou province. She was also a Member of Qiannanzhou’s 11th Municipal Party Committee, Standing Committee of the 14th Municipal People’s Congress and Deputy Director of the Municipal People’s Congress Election Joint Committee.
Zhou Ping was Senior Vice President in Dragon Land and also Chairman of EM (Shanghai), a subsidiary of Dragon Land. She has extensive experience in corporate governance and M&A, and has led several large-scale investment projects in China. She was also the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Horizon Holding Inc, a multinational investment holding company in Canada, where she was responsible for the company’s capital operation and investment operations. She holds an EMBA from National University of Singapore.
Desmond Peh is an entrepeneur and educator. He has more than 20 years of experience in Singapore’s corporate market development, and was awarded the National University of Singapore (NUS) Entrepreneur Award in 2005 and the Singapore Top Entrepreneur Award in 2010. He was the first Vice President of the Chinese Alumni Association of the NUS Business School, and Vice President of the Modern Business Management Association. He is an internationally-acclaimed magician. He holds mathematics and EMBA degrees from NUS.
Sun Zheng Jun is an entrepreneur and investor. He founded Shandong Huahai International Logistics and Shandong Zhengtongyuan International Trade, and has successively invested in Huada Group Company, Modern Real Estate Company, Zhenglian Biology and other companies. In 2017, one of his firms, Jinan Jinyu Medical, was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. He has an economics degree from Shandong University of Finance and Economics and an MBA from the National University of Singapore.
Paul Owen is an American entrepreneur and consultant. He is an expert in Hotel Management and Pest Management in the United States of America. He is the President of US-based Super Growth International Group in USA, the Advisor of Jemill C Bantum Trust, and Founder and Honorary President of Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Management Associations (FAOPMA). He also serves as the Founder and Honorary President of Society of Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Executives (SEPE) in USA, and the Hong Kong Pest Control Association (HKPCA).
Dong Zhe Jun was a host of Wenxian TV Station in Longnan City, Gansu Province. She graduated from the Sichuan Media College and holds an MBA from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, where she specialised in business management, managerial economics and marketing.
Mai Zi Shan is a teacher with more than 20 years of experience in Singapore’s education sector. She graduated with a Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education, Singapore.
Liu Ying is Founder and Chairman of Dongguan Lingzun Silicone Products Factory in Shenzhen, China. She is a leader in China’s artificial intelligence technology, artificial dolls and healthcare products industries. She also holds stakes and interests in 11 other companies based in China.
Rambo Wong is a creative director who have won major design awards in Europe. He has worked on promotional activities with many large brands such as SONY, LG, Transformers, and Running Man. He graduated from the University of the Arts in London.
Sheng Min Li was the Chairman and General Manager of EM (Shanghai) Property Management, a subsidiary of Dragon Land, from 1997 to 2004. She was then Director and General Manager of Shanghai Jianhua Satellite Communications Pte Ltd. She is a member of the Suzhou Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference, an executive member of the Jiangsu Provincial Women’s Federation, the chairman of the Hong Kong Zhangjiagang Association. She has MBAs from East China Normal University and the BSN Netherlands Business School.
Gan Ying is a filmmaker with more than 20 years of experience in the industry in China. She is a member of the Chinese Television Artists Association, a Director of the China Radio and Television Association, and Sichuan Radio and Television Programs. She has made more than a thousand documentaries and feature films, winning awards both at home and abroad. Her movie “Love Parting” won the Best Art Film Award at the Second Davis International Film Festival, and her documentary “Tibet Qiang Yi Corridor” won the China Documentary Academy Award. She graduated from Chinese Department of Southwest University for Nationalities in China, and holds a Masters in Management from Peking University.
Liu Qiu Han is Chairman of China Sichuan Jingmei and holds a PhD in finance. She is the winner of China’s Economic Women of the Year, and was awarded the title of “Top Ten Charming Female Sichuan Businessmen in 2017”. She served as a visiting professor at Chengdu University of Electronic Science and Technology, an off-campus mentor for master students at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and a mentor for Sichuan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.
Wu Xiao Yu has served successively in internationally-renowned financial institutions such as AIA, Starr Property Insurance, and ZhongAn Insurance, and has more than 10 years of legal compliance and management experience in the insurance industry. Since 2017, she has served as a partner of medical and health technology service organisations in the United States and China, leading the development of comprehensive health service systems. She had also served as the Vice Chairman of Shanghai Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce. She has studied international law at the East China University of Political Science and Law, and also holds an MBA from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
Helen Goh was a Director at Four Leaves Pte Ltd, a Singapore bakery and pastry chain. She has decades of experience in the F&B industry, and is a Director of Par International Holding Pte Ltd and its subsidiaries. She graduated from the London School of Banking and Finance and obtained an MBA from the University of Western Australia.
Zhong Xiao Yan is a veteran in sales and marketing in China and was formerly the Deputy Sales Director of Jiangyin Longtao International Golf and Country Club, a project of Dragon Land. She managed to garner nearly 300 golf members in Jiangyin Longtao and chalked up sales of about 80 million yuan. She is a graduate of Yantai University in Shandong, China.
Quek Hong Kiat runs QSS Safety Product, a one-stop shop that provides wholesale, import and export, agency distribution and direct service to end customers and provides a series of high-quality, complete types of industrial and personal protective equipment.
Alex Ng is CEO of Pick & Go Pte Ltd, an unmanned store and supermarket of White Group Singapore. He graduated from the University of Western Australia in Australia and holds a double degree in economics from the University of Western Australia and Tsinghua University in China. He has a Diploma in chemical processing technology (food technology) from the Singapore Institute of Technology. Pick & Go won the “New Startup Competition” as one of the top 500 global emerging companies and was also shortlisted as the finalist of the “Energy Open Innovation Challenge” in 2020.
Ho Wei Hao studied Electrical Engineering in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. He was responsible for customer marketing at Starhub and DHL, before taking charge of marketing at Fibreoptics. He has been Head of IT and Deputy Creative Director in JustEdu Group Singapore.
Our Chairman is a strong advocate in helping the less fortunate in the communities, and believes in helping the young through education. Through his own life experiences, he has seen how a good education is the best way to bring about social mobility.
Since his time as a Member of Parliament in the 1980s, he has held many charity art exhbitions to support various causes, and has raised almost S$3 million. Mr S R Nathan, President of the Republic of Singapore, wrote in a foreword to an art collection by Mr Peh: “Chin Hua has translated his personal passion (for art) into something more meaningful for the community.”
Since 2002, our Chairman has set up a Peh Chin Hua Bursary Fund in his alma mater, the National University of Singapore Business School. Now in its 20th year, the aim of the bursary is to provide financial aid to those who could not otherwise afford a university education. There are 4 named scholarships and bursary awards under Mr Peh’s and his family’s name.
